Upcoming Events

Each month Bethesda Green focuses on a specific aspect of local sustainability -- topics of real importance to building a thriving, ecologically sound future for our community: energy choices, the quality of our food, questions about what we can reuse and recycle.

In addition to information workshops, we'll be holding a number of lunchtime discussions and evening social gatherings.  Unless otherwise noted, all events are held at Bethesda Green.


January 2012 -- Ring in the New Year
  • Wednesday, Jan. 11, 4 pm - 5:30 pm -- Education, Outreach and Marketing group meeting at Bethesda Green. New members are welcome to join.  For more information, contact Bethesda Green Communications Director Dave Heffernan, dvheffernan@bethesdagreen.org.

  • Monday, Jan. 16, 1 pm - 3:30 pm -- MLK Day of Service 2012 at North Bethesda Marriott Hotel and Conference Center.
     
  • Saturday, Jan. 21, 9 am - 5:30 pm -- Changing the Way We Eat 2012, stop in anytime thruout the day for a FREE TEDxManhattan Viewing Party at Bethesda Green

  • Wednesday, Jan. 25, 4 pm - 5:30 pm -- BG 101, an orientation about Bethesda Green, our history, upcoming events and volunteer opportunities.

All events are held at Bethesda Green unless noted otherwise, 4825 Cordell Ave., Suite 200, Bethesda, MD 20814, located at the corner of Cordell and Woodmont Avenues, above the Chevy Chase Bank branch.

Transportation options: Public parking garage is located on Woodmont (near Battery Lane). We are Metro accessible via Bethesda station, and a bike rack is available in front of the building.
