Bethesda Green and Full Plate Ventures co-host our third official TEDxManhattan Viewing Party. This independently organized TED talk is called, “Changing the Way We Eat” and will inform, educate, and empower with speakers, short films, and music.
Watch the entire conference, live from New York, from the comfort of two viewing screens at Bethesda Green. No need to stay for the whole day--drop in as your schedule allows. Join us for a potluck lunch to learn about our burgeoning local food movement and what’s emerging in Montgomery County.
This year’s special feature! Our own local entrepreneur, Cheryl Kollin, principal of Full Plate Ventures, will speak from the TEDxManhattan stage in New York about her new social enterprise, Farm to Freezer. Come cheer her on!

If you join us for lunch, please bring a seasonal, locally-grown and/or locally produced food--homemade is encouraged-- to share for 6 people according to the category by last name. Honest Tea, hot tea, and coffee will be provided. There is a refrigerator but there are no warming facilities.

TEDxManhattan’s “Changing the Way We Eat” is a one-day event in New York City that will be simulcast at viewing parties all over the world. The program explores the state of our food system and our progress toward sustainability. Speakers from various backgrounds in food and farming will share their insights and expertise.
